Venture Sun was formed in 2003 by a group of Executives with over 50 years experience in Corporate life.  We have over 25 years experience in the Alps, but we haven't forgotten what you need to run the perfect Corporate Event and to ensure you create value from the experience for the Company and all the attendees.

We understand the need for flexibility and to fit in this vital activity around all the other important and urgent events in the diary.  We can arrange your event to your requirements - no fixed transfer days, no fixed menus and no coach schedules.  We can collect you from any of the nearby aiports of Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon or Chambery.

It doesn't matter if your team aren't keen mountain people. Any time given to outdoor/leisure can be traditional hiking and biking, any of the exciting team building activities on the activities page, or just kick back and relax in the sunshine or by the pool in our private spa.  We can customise all elements of your stay to meet your own individual requirements.

We are based in Sainte Foy (pronounced Sant_Fwa), one of the most beautiful villages in the French Alps.  It is located at the heart of the Tarentaise and the edge of the Vanoise National Park.  Our brand new luxury chalets are perfectly located in the ‘best of the best' mountain areas in the Alps.  But they are also a little off the usual beaten tourist traps, and located in the exclusive La Bataillette area where privacy and quiet are paramount.

A sample event programme might be arranged as follows:

••         Monday night arrive - Champagne Reception

••         Tuesday am - Company time (09:00 - 11:00)

••         Tuesday pm - Sainte Foy mountain hiking (defined groups)

••         Tuesday evening - "a la carte" chalet meals (could include dinner safari)

••         Wednesday - White water rafting on the Isere river at the bottom of the valley.

••         Wednesday evening - dinner out - the Maison a Colonnes traditional Savoyard restaurant

••         Thursday - Company Time (09:00 - 13:00)

••         Thursday pm - A trip to the Treetop assault course just 10 minutes away from the chalets

••         Thursday night - Dinner, party, awards distributed, partners arrive (optional)

••         Friday - transport to airport or partners arrive for family weekend.

Budget

There are few limits to what can be achieved.  This event may be one of the most important strategic investments you will make this year, and at a fraction of the cost that you invest in your salary bill every day.  But as a value multiplier, it will achieve more than any bonus or pay rise you could offer.

There are no strict guidelines.  We will work within the tightest budget, and an event for a small team can cost only a few thousand pounds.  Likewise, we can put together a prestigious package for up to 65 people and allocate our whole resort team to meeting your needs.  Availability is the only factor, so we recommend you plan your event as early as possible.  We would always work with you as far as possible if there were any last minute changes to be incorporated.

About Sainte Foy

It is worth noting that of all Alpine locations, Sainte Foy is perfect for Corporate Events.  Placed number one in a recent Sunday Times article on the "Best Resorts on the Planet".

Located close to the base of the Isere valley, it is the most accessible of Tarentaise mountain resorts.  Just 20 minutes from the local hub of Bourg St Maurice, it can be accessed easily by road, and for the most prestigious events, helicopter transfers can drop you 30 metres from the front door.

Sainte Foy is served by a number of international airports, including Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon, and closest of all Chambery.  The road trip is approximately two hours (1½ hours from Chambery), and our chauffeured collection service can meet you at any of these airports.  Similarly, helicopter transfer can be arranged, with road back-up should the weather (very occasionally) prevent flying.

Sainte Foy has a number of bars and restaurants to cater for everything from pizza to traditional Savoyard fare.  Your Venture Sun resort team can also recommend and arrange transport to a few special "off-the-beaten-track" local secrets where the cuisine and experience are second to none.
