Family Summer Holidays in the Alps

Venture Sun's chalets in Sainte Foy are the perfect place to bring your family this summer.  The safe, healthy, relaxed environment will take you all "back to nature".  No polution, no dirty beaches, no crowds, just clean fresh air, picnics, walks, cycling, and a whole bunch of exciting and memorable family-friendly activities to enjoy any day you feel like it.

Our summer chalets are perfect for a family (or two) to stay, with luxurious bedrooms, well appointed kitchens, and in most cases open-plan or adjoining living areas, terraces or balconies to sit in the warm sun and enjoy some al-fresco dining.

We do have a DVD and flat screen in all the chalets to allow a little "down time" but there is no television, and so much safe fun to be had exploring the surrounding open hillsides, paths, streams and forests, that you really will return from your holiday relaxed, fresh and with a wholesome feeling you probably miss for much of the year.

For a day or two, you might want to take the family on a white-water rafting excursion, just 20 minutes away, a play in the tree-top adventure park (Paracorps d'Aventure), or even a day out sightseeing in historic Annecy and a swim in the lake there.

But we expect that most of the time, you'll just love to be in Sainte Foy; a few gentle (or more challenging if you wish) walks, or hire bikes for the day to really take in the unspeakably beautiful views and scenery all around you.

 ... and don't forget, we run our Alpine Cookery courses during August.  If Mum, Dad, or maybe one of the teenagers take part in one of the courses, they produce a gourmet dinner each evening (under the instruction of our professional chef instructors) for the whole family! ... and the rest of the family can be out hiking, biking or any of the other many activities during the day.
