Venture Sun Mountain Hiking Tours

Venture Sun offers specialist hiking weeks.  That doesn't mean extreme - we cater for all ages and fitness levels - so we will consult with you on heights, distances and speed.

Then one of the Venture Sun transfer vehicles will drop you off with a host or guide to show you along the route, plan rest stops and navigation, and tell you a little about the local history and geography on the way.

At the end of the day, you may end up back at the chalets, or a transfer vehicle will meet you at the pre-arranged rendezvous... you may be waiting there in a quiet glade of the forest, cooling your feet in one of the many mountain streams or pools!

On hiking weeks, we include packed lunches where appropriate, although on some days the route may take you past one of the Savoyard restaurants to sample the local cuisine.

One day of the week (or more by arrangement), you will be treated to one of our chefs, butler service, gourmet mountain picnics!

For anybody who wishes to venture further up the mountains or above the snowline (3000m plus), we can organise a day or two with one of the High Mountain Guides, and perhaps an overnight stay in a mountain refuge, which is an amazing and exciting experience, as well as a lot of fun!  We'll be waiting at the chalets getting one of our "a la carte" dinners ready for your return!
